OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Adam Andrews-Chef/General Manager
Adam was born and raised in Winston Salem, NC. He started working in the restaurant business at the early age of 15. After high school, Adam pursued his dream of becoming a chef. He moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School (formerly Pennsylvania Culinary Institute). He was the kitchen manager at Atria's and Valhallas, two well-known restarurants in Pittsburgh. We were lucky enough to steal him away and bring him back home to become the Chef of The Old Fourth Street Filling Station.
Chef Adam's responsibility increased in February of 2005 when he became the General Manager. When not working (a rarity) he can be found traveling, dining at other restaurants and spending time outdoors working in his yard.

The Back of the House
Chef Adam and the rest of the awesome kitchen crew love what they do. They take criticism very personally. There is very little turn-over because they all really care about each other. Need we mention that they are a close group?
As far as the rest of the staff, well they too, are the best in town. We are thrilled to have a diverse, fun, group of people working here. This is a group that not only works to get a paycheck, but one that genuinely cares about what happens around them. Whether it's helping build a "Habitat for Humanity" house or forfeiting a day off to raise money for hurricane victims, they stay involved. Finally, what makes The Old Fourth Street Filling Station unique is it's superior management staff. |
